Last updated: May 2026
Your privacy matters to us. This policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, and how it is protected, in plain language.
1. Who We Are
Comfy Method is operated by Marie-Kristin Schuermann, a holistic health and yoga coach. The business is registered in Portugal as a freelance activity (trabalhadora independente) and operates across Portugal, the Netherlands, and Europe.

We collect personal data in the following ways:

Booking and payment: name, email, and payment details (processed securely by third-party providers such as Stripe or Squarespace Commerce — we do not store your full card details).
Website analytics: pages visited, time spent, device type, and general location data, collected anonymously through Squarespace's built-in analytics and/or cookies.
Communications: if you email us, we retain that correspondence.
3. Why We Collect It
We use your data only for the following purposes:
To respond to enquiries and provide services you have signed up for
To send newsletters or programme updates (only if you have opted in)

Contract performance — for processing bookings and delivering services
Legitimate interests — for responding to enquiries and improving our services
Legal obligation — where required by Dutch or Portuguese law
5. Cookies
Our website uses cookies. Some are strictly necessary for the site to function (Squarespace platform cookies); others are optional and relate to analytics or preferences.
You can manage or withdraw your cookie consent at any time through your browser settings. Rejecting optional cookies will not affect your ability to use the site.
