By using this website or booking any service through Comfy Method, you agree to the following terms. Please read them carefully.

1. About Comfy Method

Comfy Method is operated by Marie-Kristin Schuermann, a holistic health and yoga coach. The business is registered in Portugal as a freelance activity (trabalhadora independente) and operates across Portugal, the Netherlands, and Europe. Our website is hosted via Squarespace.

2. Services Offered

Comfy Method offers the following services:

  • 1-on-1 coaching programmes (including the Seasons Within 8-week programme)

  • Group online sessions (yoga flows, cook-alongs, educational workshops)

  • In-person events including yin yoga, sound healing, and workshops

  • Digital content including guides, recipe PDFs, and newsletters

All sessions and content are educational in nature. They are not medical treatment, diagnosis, or therapy. Please refer to our Disclaimer for full details.

3. Bookings and Payments

Bookings are made through this website, Luma, or by direct agreement. Payment is due at the time of booking unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Prices are listed in euros (EUR) and include applicable VAT where required. Payment is processed securely through Squarespace Commerce or Stripe.

By completing a booking, you confirm that you have read and accepted these Terms and our Disclaimer.

4. Cancellation and Refund Policy

1-on-1 coaching programmes: A non-refundable deposit of 50% is due upon booking. The remaining balance is due before the first session. Cancellations made more than 14 days before the programme start date will receive a refund of the remaining balance. Cancellations within 14 days are non-refundable.

Individual sessions and events: Cancellations made more than 48 hours in advance will receive a full refund or credit note. Cancellations within 48 hours are non-refundable. Missed sessions without notice are non-refundable.

Digital products and content: Due to the nature of digital delivery, all sales of downloadable content are final and non-refundable once accessed.

We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule sessions due to unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, you will receive a full refund or the option to reschedule.

5. Your Responsibilities

By booking with Comfy Method, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate information about your health status and any conditions that may affect your participation

  • Inform us of any injuries, chronic conditions, pregnancy, or recent medical events before attending physical sessions

  • Attend sessions at your own responsibility and within your own physical and mental capacity

  • Consult your own healthcare provider before making changes to diet, exercise, or supplementation based on any content provided

6. Intellectual Property

All content on this website — including text, images, programme materials, PDFs, and the Comfy Method framework — is the intellectual property of Marie Kristin Anne / Comfy Method, unless otherwise stated.

You may not reproduce, distribute, or use our content commercially without prior written permission. Personal, non-commercial use is permitted.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Comfy Method and Marie Kristin Anne shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of this website, participation in sessions, or application of information or techniques learned through our programmes.

This includes but is not limited to physical injury during in-person or online movement sessions, adverse reactions to dietary guidance, or decisions made based on educational content.

8. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by Portuguese law, as the business is registered in Portugal. Where mandatory consumer protection law applies in the client's country of residence (including the Netherlands), those protections remain in place and are not excluded by these Terms. Any disputes shall be submitted to the competent courts of Portugal, unless mandatory consumer law in your country of residence provides otherwise.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The most current version will always be published on this page. Continued use of our services after changes are made constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
